WWE NXT Level Up 1/12/2024

This is the 100th NXT Level Up show.
Joe Coffey vs Tavion Heights
Tav slams him down a couple of times and Joe throws Tav out. Tav double leg takedowns him then forearms him in the back of the neck. Joe backbreakers him then samoan drops him. Tav rolls him up and takes a punch. Tav back body drops him then hits lariats. Tav overhead belly to belly suplexes him then twisting belly to belly suplexes him.
Joe pop-up euros him then Tav ankle locks him. Joe does his glasgow sendoff then spinning lariats him to win it.
It wasn't anything special. The opening part of this wasn't good and it just didn't feel like it really clicked. Tav's personality really doesn't show much in the ring.
They had a small video package for the 100th episode of Level Up, showing people like Lyra, Out The Mud, Tiffany Stratton and Axiom.
Amari Miller vs Jaida Parker
Amari side headlocks her then walks up the buckles and headlock takeovers her. Amari forearms her hard on the apron, dropping her then kicks her in the back. Amari walks up her back and double knee drops her back. Amari sits up top and chinlocks her then is thrown down.
Jaida hits knees to the body as she puts Amari between the ropes. Jaida then butt drops her down while she's on the ropes. Amari rolls her up and Jaida hits a knee to the body. Jadia throws her down and pulls her arms back.
Amari hits some shots then hits a knee and kicks. Amari legsweeps her. Amari rolls her up and Jaida grabs the knee brace. Jaida then wins it with an ore ga taue (nodowa otoshi + backdrop combo).
It wasn't that good. It was just very basic stuff for the most part and despite Amari having a year or two on Jaida, she didn't look that much better than her.
Joe Gacy vs Javier Bernal
Joe still has his old music despite having a new gimmick. They lock up. JB side headlocks him then Joe trips him as he runs and plays air guitar. Joe armdrags him then handstnads on the 2nd buckle. Joe hits armdrags then uranages him. JB jumping flatliners him and underhook suplexes him. JB sliding legdrops him then Joe throws him over the top.
JB pulls him out then neckbreakers him over the 2nd rope for 2. Joe hits a lariat then hits punches. Joe running forearms him then single leg dropkicks him. Joe backdrops him then elbow drops him for 2. JB flying dropkicks him in the corner then does a full-nelson slam for 2. Joe is hurricanrana'd then Joe handspring lariats him to win it.
It was a very average match that was nothing to really speak of. I have no idea what they are doing with Joe's new gimmick but it's not working and it's not even clear whether he's supposed to be a face or a heel.
